Fullmind is looking for a California-certified Virtual Support Needs Educator to deliver school curriculum remotely via a district platform for the 2024-25 school year. This is a fully remote, 1099 contract position. Fullmind partners with schools across the U.S. to ensure every child has access to education.
What You'll Do
- Teach the school curriculum on the district's virtual platform.
- Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
- Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and relationships.
- Record and track student progress and grades.
- Attend district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.
- Partner with an in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.
What We're Looking For
- Active Mild to Moderate Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs California teaching certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional educator experience.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Ability to complete LiveScan fingerprinting and live near or drive to a LiveScan location.
- Willingness to participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit a background check.
Nice to Have
- SEIS knowledge is highly preferred.
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus.
Team & Environment
You will partner with an in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.
