About the Role

The role involves planning, shooting, editing, and distributing video content that aligns with editorial goals and reaches diverse audiences across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute video production from concept through post-production
  • Conduct interviews and film panel discussions and expert roundtables
  • Edit footage into polished, engaging video segments
  • Collaborate with editorial staff to identify visual storytelling opportunities
  • Manage production schedules and coordinate logistics for shoots
  • Ensure technical quality of audio and video outputs
  • Optimize videos for distribution across digital platforms
  • Maintain and organize digital media archives
  • Operate camera and sound equipment in studio and field settings
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during recording sessions
  • Develop storyboards and production scripts
  • Coordinate with external vendors when necessary
  • Adhere to brand and style guidelines in all deliverables
  • Support live streaming of events when required
  • Archive completed projects for future use
  • Stay current with trends in digital video and production technology
  • Produce content under tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Ensure accessibility standards are met in final outputs
  • Contribute ideas for new video series or formats
  • Track performance metrics for published videos
