Nacar is seeking a Video Editor focused on Meta platforms to craft direct-response, conversion-driven short-form video content for a direct-to-consumer wellness brand. You will blend performance marketing principles with compelling storytelling to create thumb-stopping ads that generate a strong return on investment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with creative strategists and performance marketers to launch and iterate on converting ad campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Edit and produce direct-response ad creatives for Meta platforms, including Reels, Stories, feed ads, and UGC-style cuts.
- Work with raw assets like UGC, product footage, and voiceovers to build high-converting hooks, engaging edits, and seamless calls-to-action.
- Follow creative briefs and iterate quickly based on performance data and results.
- Maintain a wellness-forward brand aesthetic while pushing creative boundaries.
- Collaborate with growth teams and creative strategists to test, optimize, and scale top-performing video content.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience editing video specifically for Meta ads (Facebook and Instagram).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating DTC ad work, ideally in wellness, beauty, health, or lifestyle verticals.
- Proven ability to edit for performance, with an understanding of what makes users stop scrolling and convert.
- Comfort working with UGC-style content, short-form edits, and branded story-driven video.
- Skilled in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Familiarity with ad metrics like CTR, ROAS, and thumb stop rate to guide creative decisions.
Nice to Have
- Experience collaborating directly with media buyers or creative strategists.
- Comfort turning raw UGC or iPhone footage into polished, professional ad content.
- Stay current with Meta creative trends, audio trends, and format best practices.
- Knowledge of how to structure A/B creative tests through video editing.
