Hireframe is looking for a Part-Time Video Editor to join our team. You'll support ongoing production for podcasts, YouTube, and social video. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented editor experienced with talking-head and podcast-style content who thrives on following clear instructions to deliver polished results.
What You'll Do
- Edit long-form podcast and YouTube videos from raw footage.
- Create short-form social clips (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style edits).
- Remove filler words, dead air, and unnecessary pauses.
- Apply text overlays, captions, and basic motion graphics as directed.
- Follow detailed production notes, timestamps, and creative instructions.
- Ensure edits meet brand style and quality standards.
- Deliver assets within agreed-upon turnaround timelines.
- Communicate clearly if timelines or scope need adjustment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience editing podcast or talking-head video content.
- Proven experience editing YouTube long-form videos and/or social clips.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Excellent English comprehension, especially for captions, text overlays, and on-screen copy.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly.
- Reliable availability for 20 hours/week with EST overlap.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe After Effects.
