Western Alliance Bank is looking for a Vice President, HOA Banking to drive growth in our community association vertical. In this business development role, you will generate new opportunities by offering our industry-specific banking services and products while maintaining strong relationships with an existing client portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Develop new business opportunities and service existing clients.
- Perform cold calling, establish new business, and provide sales presentations.
- Attend and exhibit at industry trade show events.
- Market to prospects via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Follow up with existing clients on service items and perform light administrative tasks.
- Promote and educate clients on the bank's products and services.
- Support the director in meeting deposit and lending goals.
- Grow existing client relationships and cross-sell products.
- Identify and cold call on prospective clients to build a portfolio of management company deposits.
- Attend industry events, including being an active member of the local Community Association Institute (CAI) Chapter.
- Attend association board meetings, national events, and sales training.
- Effectively communicate banking services via email, letters, demonstrations, presentations, and conversations.
- Act as a liaison between the operations team and clients as needed.
- Ensure clients receive necessary service levels and troubleshoot issues.
- Work closely with manager and periodically review key performance indicators.
- Prepare and submit new client forms and update existing client forms.
- Participate in remote training and attend remote sales meetings.
- Work efficiently from a home office and car, spending most of the week meeting with clients.
- Manage marketing, entertainment, and advertising expenses within budget.
- Run sales ads in trade publications and complete mailings/emailing campaigns.
- Market and solicit loans to community associations and collect required underwriting material.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of related experience.
- High school diploma.
- May require up to 75% travel.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
