About the Role

The Global Psychosocial Services Vice President will spearhead the development and implementation of psychosocial strategies, oversee a global team, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve health and well-being across various communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global psychosocial strategies.
  • Manage and mentor a global team of psychosocial professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate psychosocial services into health programs.
  • Ensure alignment of psychosocial services with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training programs for psychosocial staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions and programs.
  • Identify and address psychosocial needs in diverse communities.
  • Advocate for psychosocial health and well-being at the global level.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in psychosocial services.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and guidelines in psychosocial services.
  • Provide leadership and support to psychosocial teams in crisis situations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for psychosocial programs and initiatives.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures for psychosocial services.
  • Conduct regular assessments of psychosocial service delivery and outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in psychosocial services.
  • Ensure the integration of psychosocial services with other health and social services.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance on psychosocial issues to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other events related to psychosocial services.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the prevention and management of psychosocial risks.
  • Ensure the sustainability and scalability of psychosocial programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local and international organizations to enhance psychosocial services.
  • Conduct research and publish findings to advance the field of psychosocial services.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the recruitment and retention of psychosocial professionals.
