Alliance Animal Health is hiring a Veterinary Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient appointments and schedules.
  • Coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners and veterinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Assist in the preparation of medical records and reports.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the veterinary clinic.
  • Handle patient intake and discharge processes.
  • Coordinate with veterinary staff for patient care.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Provide support to veterinary technicians and doctors.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the administration of medications and treatments.
  • Handle patient billing and insurance claims.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners.
  • Assist in the coordination of surgical procedures.
  • Manage patient follow-up care and appointments.
  • Handle patient referrals and transfers.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members.
  • Provide support during emergency situations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Assist in the development of patient care protocols.
  • Provide support to the veterinary team during busy periods.

Nice to Have

  • Certification in veterinary assisting or a related field.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
