Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice was looking for a Veterinary Clinic Relationship Specialist

As a Veterinary Clinic Relationship Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in expanding access to dignified, in-home end-of-life care for pets. Your primary focus will be connecting with veterinary teams across the country to share knowledge about compassionate care options and how Lap of Love supports both practices and pet-owning families during difficult transitions.

What You’ll Do

You’ll travel frequently—up to 75% of the time—to visit clinics, attend conferences, and engage with veterinary professionals in person. You’ll deliver educational resources, answer questions, and foster lasting partnerships that enhance patient care. Monthly, you’ll support at least two designated markets, ensuring local practices have the tools they need.

In addition to field visits, you’ll represent the organization at national events, contributing through booth presence, speaking opportunities, and outreach initiatives. Whether in person or remotely, you’ll bring fresh insights and practical support to strengthen relationships and improve awareness.

Detailed reporting and follow-up tracking are essential parts of the role, helping measure impact and refine outreach strategies over time. You’ll also stay current with industry trends and adapt messaging to meet the needs of diverse veterinary teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of two years of experience in sales or outreach, ideally within the veterinary space
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing time and priorities independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Sheets), and CRM platforms
  • Willingness and ability to learn proprietary software systems
  • Residence within 45 minutes of a major airport for travel efficiency
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed to align with event schedules and client needs

Work Environment

This is a remote position with significant travel across the U.S. While based independently, you’ll remain closely connected to a supportive team through digital collaboration tools. The role demands self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to the core principle: Help above all else.

Compensation includes a $65,000 base salary, eligibility for monthly performance-based bonuses, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing mission-driven organization.
