Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an empathetic and self-motivated Veterinary Clinic Relationship Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills who is passionate about educating the veterinary community on our in-home, end-of-life care services for pet families. The position is remote and located in the Richmond or Fredericksburg, VA areas, with up to 75% travel to represent Lap of Love in markets across the United States.
What You'll Do
- Travel to veterinary conferences and clinics across the United States (75% travel).
- Educate veterinary practices and their teams on the benefits of recommending Lap of Love's in-home end-of-life care.
- Visit a minimum of 2 Lap of Love markets per month to deliver educational materials.
- Provide new ideas, trends, and tips to continually strengthen relationships with veterinary professionals.
- Attend national conferences and events to promote Lap of Love at booths, speaking engagements, and special events.
- Report and track results from visits and events to understand the effectiveness of outreach campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of sales or outreach experience, preferably in the veterinary industry.
- Live within 45 minutes of a major airport.
- Top-notch oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to audience needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build new relationships within the veterinary industry.
- Excellent prioritization, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), G Suite (Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Sheets), Customer Relationship Management systems, and proprietary software.
- A confident, independent thinker and self-starter who is self-driven, collaborative, and motivated to do profound work.
- Excellent listening and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to exemplify and convey Lap of Love's core value: Help above all else.
- Strong leadership skills.
- This is a remote role requiring independent work; hours may vary and some evening/weekend availability is necessary.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $65,000 + Monthly Bonus Potential
