Peraton is hiring an UX/UI and 508 Compliance Engineer

Peraton is seeking an experienced UX/UI and 508 Compliance Engineer to support a large-scale federal Identity and Access Management (IAM) modernization program. This program replacing two legacy IAM systems with a modern, cloud based IAM. The UX/UI and 508 Compliance Engineer will serve as the subject matter expert for user experience design, UI design, and Section 508 accessibility compliance across all public-facing and internal IAM platforms. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all delivered interfaces are intuitive, accessible, compliant, and aligned with the Brand Style Guide and Design System. What you will do: User Experience Design and Research Lead user experience design activities across Agile/Scrum development sprints, ensuring all interface changes are grounded in user research and Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles. Conduct discovery work to understand the needs of diverse user populations, including external users, internal staff, and privileged account holders.
