John Deere is seeking a UX Lead - Human Resources to lead UX design initiatives within our Enterprise Information Technology team. You will be responsible for creating visual blueprints, developing UX strategy, and mentoring other designers to deliver complex, multi-platform solutions that serve our internal workforce.
What You'll Do
- Leverage user experience research insights and recommendations to accelerate decisions early in the product development process.
- Apply internal and external standards and best practices to create tangible visualizations that serve as the blueprint for product teams to turn concepts into solutions.
- Design for multiple products and components across multiple platforms, often spanning divisions, enabling highly complex and concurrent user interactions.
- Lead and/or participate in the creation of the user experience strategy and standards for a broad set of related solutions.
- Actively work to share knowledge across workgroups.
- Mentor and coach less experienced UX Designers.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience making strategic design and user-experience decisions in collaboration with UX Lead peers related to features and developing user-centered system requirements.
- Experience planning, coordinating, and performing UX interaction design and validation activities for a variety of projects involving highly automated systems.
Nice to Have
- Three or more years of experience communicating research methodology, design concepts, data analysis, and test results to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Three or more years of experience with technology and product development processes.
