EX Squared is hiring an UX Designer (Remote - US)

We are currently seeking a UX Designer in the United States. This opportunity allows you to transform user experiences for advanced autonomous AI technologies in critical operational contexts. You will engage within an integrated, multidisciplinary team to develop intuitive, human-focused designs that enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, and accelerate system adoption. The role integrates strategic design methodology with practical prototyping, user investigation, and usability evaluation, enabling direct influence on product outcomes. You'll collaborate extensively with technical professionals, product strategists, and subject matter experts to translate intricate workflows into streamlined, sophisticated, and actionable interfaces. This position suits designers who excel in dynamic environments and are enthusiastic about constructing innovative, high-impact solutions for commercial and governmental domains. Accountabilities: · Partner with cross-functional teams to generate user-focused feature designs for autonomous AI products. · Execute user research, usability assessments, and concept validation to ensure optimal user alignment. · Generate rapid prototypes and web-compatible design resources to effectively communicate design concepts. · Champion user experience and cultivate a user-centered design philosophy throughout the organization. · Construct experimental frameworks to evaluate product value and usability, continuously refining design-development methodologies. · Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in supporting team objectives and evolving product specifications. · Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues on UX best practices to enhance overall design excellence and uniformity. Requirements: · Demonstrated experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and domain specialists to develop intuitive user experiences. · Robust background in web UX design, rapid prototyping, and comprehensive user testing. · Advanced visual design skills emphasizing usability, accessibility, and cross-platform interface development. · Comprehensive understanding of agile engineering approaches and iterative design processes. · Superior teamwork and communication capabilities, with proven ability to effectively advocate design strategies. · Preferred: Experience designing autonomous AI products, intelligent systems, or generative AI functionalities. · Preferred: Background creating designs for governmental users and constrained technological environments. · Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI preferred.
