This position is currently seeking a Graphic Design Intern in the United States for an impactful opportunity. The internship provides hands-on experience creating compelling visual content for campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and nonprofit organizations. You'll collaborate with a creative team to develop graphics for social media, digital ads, print materials, and branding projects, while expressing your unique creative perspective. You'll develop skills in motion graphics, video editing, and design software while contributing to meaningful projects driving social and political transformation. The position offers full remote work or Washington, D.C. placement, creating a supportive environment for learning, experimentation, and portfolio development. Accountabilities: · Develop visual assets for email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, and print materials. · Implement and adapt brand guidelines across design projects. · Generate simple animations and video loop edits. · Provide support for comprehensive projects including identity design, web graphics, and multi-platform campaigns. · Integrate feedback from designers, strategists, and clients to refine creative work. · Engage in collaborative efforts across design, strategy, and development teams to ensure cohesive visual storytelling. Requirements: · Current senior, final-year undergraduate student, or recent graduate in graphic design, visual communication, or related discipline. · Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva. · Exceptional creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and innovative problem-solving capabilities. · Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning, receiving constructive feedback, and participating in collaborative initiatives. · Strong commitment to supporting progressive political candidates, nonprofit causes, and advocacy efforts. · Capability to work full-time or near full-time (40 hours/week) with consistent availability. · United States residency required. · Preferred bonus: Experience with motion design tools, accessibility design, or UX/UI project expertise.
