About the Role We're seeking a Product Designer (Creative) with exceptional design skills, passion for visual storytelling, and contemporary digital sensibility. Your background might span UX/UI, digital design, visual communications, advertising, or animation/illustration. We prioritize your creativity, curiosity, and ability to craft thoughtful, refined digital experiences. In this position, you'll design experiences for students and educators, influencing learning flows, gamification, teacher reporting, and platform design system enhancements. You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Design, who will mentor you while expecting proactive and independent task execution. This opportunity allows you to shape educational experiences that are clear, engaging, motivational, and playful for young learners and professionals. What You'll Work On Product & UI Design - Design responsive UI screens and components in Figma aligned with our design system - Contribute to design system improvements, including patterns, interactions, styles, and documentation - Collaborate with UX to create and test prototypes with educators and students - Partner with product managers and developers to refine design details and deliver production-ready files Creative Experience & Gamification - Support gamified experience design (shop, rewards, challenges, quests) - Create visually appealing, age-appropriate feature concepts - Develop storytelling elements that motivate students and delight educators Craft & Visual Design - Produce polished visual assets, icons, layouts, and supporting illustrations - Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and/or Affinity for complex design needs - Maintain pixel-perfect quality with meticulous attention to detail Innovation & AI - Integrate AI tools in workflow (ideation, image generation, copy exploration, prototyping) - Explore innovative product and creative possibilities with AI - Bring forward-thinking perspective to potential platform evolution across younger demographics Requirements What We're Looking For Must-Haves - Higher Education Certificate in Design (UI, Graphic, Multimedia, or related field) - Exceptional attention to detail and contemporary digital aesthetics - Refined design sensibility and trend awareness - Web/mobile interface design experience using Figma - Passion for designing student and teacher-focused tools - Commitment to continuous learning and skill development - Comfort utilizing AI as a creative design tool - Ability to independently advance defined tasks with nearby support - Portfolio demonstrating visual craftsmanship Bonus Points - Motion graphics/illustration skills - Rive experience - Adobe Creative Suite proficiency - Design system expertise - EdTech, gamification, or youth brand background Who You Are - Creative thinker with empathy - Design-savvy with curiosity about functional mechanics - Enjoys crafting refined UI and exploring innovative concepts - Natural experimenter with rapid learning capabilities - Enthusiastic about designing for educational professionals - Passionate about creating inspiring, playful, modern learning experiences If you're excited by creativity, digital product development, and meaningful impact, this role is perfect for you.
