About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of UX designers through coaching, feedback, and career growth planning.
- Define and maintain design standards, systems, and methodologies across product platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align design direction with business goals.
- Champion user-centered design principles in all stages of product development.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces.
- Integrate user research findings into design strategy and product improvements.
- Facilitate design critiques and promote a culture of constructive feedback.
- Manage design project timelines and ensure deliverables meet quality benchmarks.
- Represent design in cross-functional meetings and executive discussions.
- Evaluate emerging design tools and advocate for their adoption when beneficial.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity are embedded in design workflows.
- Partner with UX researchers to plan and interpret user studies.
- Translate complex data concepts into clear, usable interface solutions.
- Drive consistency in visual language and interaction patterns across applications.
- Mentor junior designers in technical skills and professional development.
- Support recruitment efforts to grow and diversify the design team.
- Promote design thinking across departments to influence product decisions.
- Monitor industry trends to keep the team’s approach current and effective.
- Balance user needs with technical constraints and business requirements.
- Establish metrics to evaluate design impact on user satisfaction and product success.
