You will lead user experience design initiatives within a multidisciplinary team, crafting seamless digital customer journeys across platforms such as mobile and web. You will apply human-centred design methodologies, partner with business and technology stakeholders, conduct user research, and ensure inclusive, accessible experiences. You will also contribute to the Design System and support a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out both qualitative and quantitative research to uncover customer needs and behaviours.
- Define and continuously improve user journeys and flows that support both customer and business objectives.
- Transform research insights into tangible design solutions, clearly articulating the reasoning behind design decisions.
- Lead collaborative ideation and design workshops with stakeholders and end-users.
- Apply information architecture principles to create intuitive and clear interface structures.
- Design and refine prototypes ranging from low to high fidelity using Figma.
- Conduct usability testing and use findings to iteratively enhance user experience.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and content specialists to ensure aligned delivery.
- Use and contribute to the organisation’s Design System to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Ensure accessibility standards and inclusive design practices are integrated in all work, aligned with WCAG 2.1.
- Share knowledge and support the growth of peers and team members through mentorship and collaboration.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience in UX design across various digital platforms and experiences.
- Ability to create user flows, map customer journeys, and develop low- to high-fidelity prototypes.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of design.
- Proficient in Figma, Figjam, and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Solid understanding of human-centred design practices and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
- Skilled at synthesising user research data and turning it into actionable design improvements.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams alongside developers, product owners, and designers.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and influencing abilities.
- Proven track record of using and contributing to a design system.
- Demonstrated ability to design consistently across multiple digital channels and platforms.
- Possesses a growth mindset, adaptability, and a focus on delivering measurable value.

- Experience working in financial services, consulting, or large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with content design, service design, or product experimentation methods.
- Awareness of technical limitations and experience working within agile product teams.
