WTW (Willis Towers Watson) is seeking a UX Designer to join a collaborative team transforming the Human Capital Management industry. In this role, you will turn complex problems into elegant user experience solutions for SaaS web and mobile software used by Fortune 500 clients. You will work with global product and development teams to inform and execute user experience design across a defined area of our Employee Experience product portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Design innovative user experiences for enterprise-level web and mobile applications that integrate across our portfolio of software.
- Work collaboratively with UX/UI team members, stakeholders, and users to research, elicit, define, design, and deliver innovative next-generation web and mobile experiences.
- Perform activities including eliciting requirements, design sessions, design thinking, usability testing, journey mapping, rapid prototyping, wireframing, and creating mid to high fidelity mock-ups.
- Ensure corporate level UX/UI and digital brand standards are implemented for consistency and usability.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work remotely and virtually with stakeholders, users, and a global team while maintaining high collaboration and clear communication.
- Basic understanding of UX design thinking methods that elicit and promote shared understanding.
- Ability to support aligning design work across a platform and deliver a holistic, consistent experience.
- Growing experience in communicating findings through empathetic and thoughtful analysis.
- Ability to foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Understanding of HCI, UI and interaction design principles, enterprise design systems, and digital brand standards.
- Proficiency in Figma for UI design, wireframing, and interactive prototyping.
- Over 2 years’ experience with User Experience Design for web applications.
- Over 1 year’s experience with User-Centered Design in an Agile SDLC.
- Basic understanding of accessibility in web and responsive applications.
- Good collaborative, professional, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance priorities and communicate issues or the need for support.
- Conceptual understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is desired.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX, HCI, Cognitive Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to present user experience design and work samples during the interview process.
- Possible 10% travel required, including international.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing interfaces with embedded AI and understanding of AI observability and transparency in user interfaces.
- Deep domain experience in at least one, preferably two, of the following areas: Compensation, Benefits, Retirement.
Technical Stack
- Figma for UI design, wireframing, and prototyping.
