Collaborate with global product, design, and technical teams to develop clear and effective user experiences for enterprise SaaS platforms in Human Capital Management.. Conduct user research, build personas and journey maps, prototype designs, and uphold corporate UX and digital brand standards across web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business, product, design, and technical teams to turn complex challenges into intuitive user experience solutions.
- Design innovative user interfaces for enterprise web and mobile applications that integrate seamlessly across a broad software suite.
- Partner with UX/UI designers, stakeholders, users, and business teams to research, define, and deliver next-generation user experiences.
- Gather user needs and requirements through design thinking workshops, feedback sessions, and collaborative design activities.
- Perform usability testing and create flow diagrams, personas, customer journey maps, wireframes, and mid to high-fidelity mockups.
- Develop interactive prototypes and detailed UI documentation using Figma.
- Ensure designs follow corporate UX/UI and digital brand standards to maintain consistency and usability.
- Maintain foundational knowledge of accessibility principles and WCAG guidelines.
- Collaborate with fellow UX/UI team members to strengthen skills and co-create impactful design solutions.
- Test early-stage design concepts to identify the most effective and valuable outcomes.
- Track and report task progress within an Agile software development lifecycle.
- Lead discovery and conceptual design for complex product domains at the senior level.
- Independently conduct user research, usability studies, and formative design activities at the senior level.
- Transform complex data sets and workflows into simple, user-friendly experiences at the senior level.
- Mentor junior designers and help build shared understanding across the team at the senior level.
- Offer strategic, data-informed design guidance to product teams at the senior level.
- Ensure alignment among designers and promote consistency across the platform at the senior level.
- Contribute specialized expertise in advanced interaction design, enterprise UX, or AI-integrated interfaces at the senior level.
Requirements
- Proven ability to work remotely and engage effectively with stakeholders, users, and global teams while maintaining collaboration, clear communication, and performance expectations.
- Foundational knowledge of UX design thinking methods that foster shared understanding across teams.
- Experience supporting consistent design delivery across platforms by collaborating with other designers.
- Developing ability to communicate research findings through empathetic and insightful analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support project success.
- Familiarity with human-computer interaction, UI principles, interaction design, enterprise design systems, and digital brand standards.
- Proficient in Figma for wireframing, UI design, and creating interactive, clickable prototypes with detailed visual specifications.
- Minimum of two years of experience in UX design for web applications.
- At least one year of experience applying user-centered design in an Agile software development lifecycle.
- Basic understanding of accessibility in web and responsive design.
- Growing experience in planning and executing UX design tasks.
- Strong collaborative, professional, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of managing competing priorities and communicating when support is needed.
- Conceptual understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, though this is not a coding position.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Information Science, User Experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- Must be able to present UX design work and project samples during the interview process.
- Up to 10% travel may be required, including international destinations.
Nice to Have
- Seven or more years of UX experience with enterprise-level SaaS or complex web applications, expected at senior level.
- Seven or more years applying user-centered design in Agile environments, expected at senior level.
- Proven experience designing for complex systems, data-intensive interfaces, or conversational user experiences, expected at senior level.
- Strong grasp of accessibility standards and enterprise design systems, expected at senior level.
- Ability to lead design initiatives, define problem areas, and validate design concepts, expected at senior level.
- Experience designing AI-integrated interfaces and understanding of AI transparency and observability in UI, preferred at senior level.
- Deep subject matter expertise in one or preferably two of the following: Compensation, Benefits, or Retirement, expected at senior level.
