Google is hiring a UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will transform complex tasks into intuitive, easy-to-use experiences for billions of people. You will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined feel, applying user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-team to support multidimensional pieces of work across games experiences.
- Deliver on a high standard for craft and excellence through the use of user-centered principles, methods, and tools, paying close attention to design systems and patterns.
- Prioritize work while managing stakeholder relationships and expectations across a range of work streams.
- Contribute to an environment where every team member feels supported and comfortable being their authentic self.
- Build strong relationships with peers and leaders inside and outside of the team to drive cohesive and well-informed user experiences.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of conversation design experience in product design or UX design.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (provide a viewable link or access instructions).
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
- 2 years of experience leading design projects.
- Experience working on consumer products at scale, in the games industry or designed for games.
Team & Environment
You will join a multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating closely with Engineering and Product Management.
