As a Senior Product Designer, Internal Tools at DoorDash, you will be a founding member of our new Internal Tools Design team in São Paulo, helping to define its vision, culture, and strategy. You'll solve complex, ambiguous problems with a focus on simplicity and design rigor, creating powerful internal tools that enhance the experience for hundreds of thousands of merchants, Dashers, and internal operators.
What You'll Do
- Shape the vision, strategy, culture, and process for the Internal Tools Design team from the ground up
- Dive into broad, deep, and complex problem spaces to create simple, elegant, and customer-centric solutions
- Design best-in-class internal tools that drive operational excellence at DoorDash
- Bring the same level of design love, rigor, and customer-centricity to internal tools as to consumer-facing products
- Partner with research, product, engineering, analytics, and business partners to develop creative solutions
- Bring clarity to teams through mastery of the design process and design sprints
- Work onsite from the São Paulo office
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a product/UX designer in a relevant industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving skills at large scale and high design caliber
- Must provide a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable)
- Must be able to work in the São Paulo, Brazil office
- Fluency in the latest product design trends, tools, and technology cross-platform
- Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces and bring clarity through design process
- Value high-quality, well-crafted visual design and obsess over details
- Self-aware, curious, and humble
- Applications must be submitted in English (resume, cover letter, and/or work samples)
Nice to Have
- Prior design experience with multi-sided marketplaces
- Prior design experience with internal or complex workflow tools
