About the Role

NTT DATA is looking for a Lead Product Designer (UX Consultant) to shape digital services that meet real user needs while aligning with business goals. You will lead end-to-end design activities—from research and discovery through to final interface design—bringing a strong UX lens and an evidence-driven mindset.

What You'll Do

  • Lead design across the full product lifecycle—from discovery through to delivery
  • Translate complex requirements into intuitive, scalable user-centred design solutions
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and developers to turn insights into actionable interaction designs
  • Participate in service discovery, product framing, and early-stage ideation sessions
  • Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UIs to drive shared understanding
  • Design polished, responsive interfaces using modern design systems and tools like Figma
  • Define and maintain a consistent design approach across the product
  • Conduct usability testing and leverage behavioural data to iterate and improve designs
  • Facilitate design workshops, stakeholder reviews, and team show-and-tells
  • Collaborate closely with developers to clarify interaction intent and ensure high-quality implementation
  • Mentor junior designers, provide constructive feedback, and support design culture
  • Lead and execute design solutions for complex, high-impact projects with strategic oversight
  • Proactively contribute to client meetings, presentations, and workshops
  • Foster client relationships by anticipating needs, presenting recommendations, and driving outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or service design
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Digital Design, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end product design across web and mobile applications
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking, interaction design, and visual design execution
  • Advanced proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision, or Framer
  • Experience in creating user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
  • Good working knowledge of HTML/CSS for design handover and developer collaboration
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices
  • Comfortable working within cross-functional agile teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in banking or financial services
  • Familiarity with KPI-led design, product metrics, or A/B testing
  • Exposure to motion design, micro-interactions, or animation tools
  • Experience maintaining or contributing to design systems at scale
