Avolta is hiring a Utility associate to perform essential operational services at the Portland International Airport. This is a non-exempt, onsite role where you will ensure sanitary standards and support daily functions.
What You'll Do
- Clean equipment, workstations, refrigerators, and other utensils.
- Wash pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using a dishwashing machine.
- Return clean items to their designated storage areas.
- Remove trash and garbage to designated disposal points.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors using heavy equipment.
- Clean walls, windows, and steam clean trashcans.
- Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of products.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or hand truck.
- Load and unload supply trucks.
- Follow all established security and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
- Requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.
- Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions.
