Becton Dickinson (BD) is looking for an Upgrade Project Manager for a fixed-term position. You will manage, coordinate, and document software and hardware upgrade projects for hospital and pharmacy environments across Europe. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and to report progress to management.
What You'll Do
- Provide active and agile project management for multiple software and hardware upgrades in the hospital area.
- Create project plans considering national and international customer requirements.
- Ensure smooth and on-time implementation to meet revenue commitments.
- Handle project controlling, reporting, and forecasting to BD management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and serve as the interface between all BD and customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate and lead internal alignment meetings and remote customer appointments.
- Collaborate closely with commercial teams, support, and development teams.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing complex software and hardware projects in the healthcare sector, with a preference for the hospital environment.
Nice to Have
- An academic degree in IT, Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English plus one additional language (Spanish, French, or German preferred).
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills paired with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Work Mode
This is a local, office-based position located in Vienna, Austria (Handelskai).
