RTX Corporation is looking for a UI / UX Development professional to design and deliver user-centered interfaces for our React web applications. You will join a tight-knit, mission-driven team that takes personal ownership of its work, collaborating across functions to build reliable and intuitive products.

What You'll Do

Design and deliver user-centered UI/UX designs for React web applications, balancing aesthetics and usability.
Collaborate with frontend developers to implement designs seamlessly using React components.
Conduct user research, create personas, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Apply best practices in interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility standards.
Work closely with backend engineers using Node.js to understand data flows and optimize interface behavior.
Use design tools such as Figma or similar for creation and handoff.
Continuously improve designs based on user feedback, analytics, and usability testing.
Maintain design consistency across products and platforms with design systems and component libraries.
Stay updated on UI/UX trends and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, support production systems, and improve application reliability.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in UI/UX development.
Experience working with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design work, preferably for React-based web apps.
Hands-on experience collaborating with React developers and understanding component-driven design.
Proficiency with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with React component libraries like Material UI or Ant Design.
Basic understanding of REST APIs and backend workflows.
Experience with usability testing and analytics tools.
