Compa is looking for a UI Engineer. UI Engineering at Compa is the connective layer between product intent and user experience; where decisions around structure, interaction, and maintainability all converge. You’ll help translate ideas into elegant, functional interfaces; shaping not just how things look, but how they work and evolve. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, product, engineering, and user experience.
What You'll Do
- Help translate ideas into elegant, functional interfaces; shaping not just how things look, but how they work and evolve.
- Join an existing lead UIE to scale Compa’s UI infrastructure and products.
- Build and scale the company, its systems, and products.
- Influence the product roadmap.
- Transform ambiguity and uncertainty into concrete next steps.
- Overcome obstacles to ship—done is better than perfect.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience shipping beautiful products.
- Proven track record of shipping products.
- Pragmatic instincts—you think first about the interaction of systems and people.
- Comfortable executing in highly ambiguous and constantly changing situations.
- Have a bias for action.
- Collaborative problem solver.
Nice to Have
- Experience with React JS, Typescript, Emotion CSS, GraphQL via Apollo, Django, Python, or AWS is a plus.
