KONE Corporation is hiring a Troubleshooter Service / Rabat

Join a global leader in elevator and escalator services as a Troubleshooter based in Rabat, Morocco. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the performance and safety of critical equipment by identifying root causes of technical failures and implementing lasting solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and resolve advanced technical faults across elevators and escalators, including systems from KONE and other manufacturers.
  • Carry out initial inspections on newly serviced equipment to ensure optimal performance from day one.
  • Proactively detect potential breakdowns and safety concerns, recommending repairs or upgrades where needed.
  • Analyze patterns in recurring faults to reduce emergency call-outs and improve long-term reliability.
  • Troubleshoot issues in remote monitoring and alarm systems, ensuring continuous operational oversight.
  • Identify gaps in team technical knowledge and recommend training to keep skills up to date.
  • Provide structured feedback to improve maintenance methods, product design, and safety protocols.
  • Coach and mentor field technicians by explaining technical root causes and effective repair strategies.
  • Share updates on Field Letters, Express Letters, and revised maintenance practices to strengthen team expertise.
  • Manage your workload efficiently to meet response targets and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with customers and on-site stakeholders.
  • Build trust through a service-first mindset and a commitment to safety and quality.

What We’re Looking For

  • Formal qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical certification.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience in elevator and escalator maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Proven expertise in fault diagnosis and repair across a variety of equipment types.
  • Strong grasp of safety standards, maintenance workflows, and service procedures.
  • Ability to think analytically and solve complex technical problems efficiently.
  • Clear communication skills to explain technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Team-oriented with a customer-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and diagnostic systems is a strong advantage.
