- Must be available to travel up to 100% of the time to locations within assigned U.S. regions, including Western, Central, and Eastern time zones.
- Faculty must work all three 15-week semesters: spring, summer, and fall.
- Clinical instruction occurs during at least 11 weeks per semester.
- Assignments are primarily within a designated region, but operational needs may require occasional travel outside it.
- This role is not limited to one state; placements may occur nationwide in Supervised On-Ground Field Experience (SOFE) Areas.
- The position requires physical capabilities such as standing and walking for up to 12 hours, moving through clinical units, demonstrating clinical techniques involving bending and reaching, handling equipment up to 50 pounds, responding quickly in emergencies, visual assessment of performance and safety, clear communication in noisy settings including through PPE, and sustained mental and physical stamina.
- Work may involve exposure to bodily fluids, biohazards, cleaning chemicals, and standard healthcare personal protective equipment.
- Frequent travel to clinical partner sites and ability to access and move within medical facilities is required.
- Schedules vary based on facility availability and may include early mornings, evenings, or extended shifts.
- Employment depends on passing a background check and drug screening.
