Transdev is looking for an experienced Bus Driver to join our team in Longmont, CO. You will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
What You'll Do
- Execute operations by meticulously following designated routes and schedules while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
- Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain the highest standards of vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, including seat belt enforcement and emergency response preparedness.
- Complete other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- You are 21 years or older.
- You possess a valid CDL Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsement or permit (permit needed before start date).
- You have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
- You have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- You must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- You will be subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- You can successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $26.43 - $34.29 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale). Starting pay is $26.43 with progression to $34.29 over 8 years.
- Vacation: up to 14 days per year.
- Paid Sick Leave: 8 hours monthly for full-time employees or 5 hours monthly for part-time employees.
- Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, company holidays, disability, and voluntary long-term disability after 90 calendar days of employment.
Work Mode
This role is onsite in Longmont, CO.
