Sentara Health, in partnership with Transdev, is hiring a Driver to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, professional, and comfortable transportation of passengers, operating a streetcar in compliance with all regulations and company standards.

What You'll Do

Operate a streetcar in revenue service, non-revenue service, and within the storage yard in strict compliance with Transdev’s rules and procedures.
Adhere to all traffic safety laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures, including emergency protocols.
Operate the vehicle communication system in accordance with radio protocols and FCC regulations; announce station stops and handle passenger communications.
Safely operate the streetcar in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, ice, and heat.
Perform a pre-departure streetcar inspection according to set procedures.
Report any operational occurrences, including vehicle or maintenance-of-way issues, to the Operations Controller.
Complete all required reports accurately at the end of each scheduled shift.
Follow designated routes and schedules precisely while maintaining stringent safety protocols.
Provide exceptional passenger assistance, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting maintenance issues and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
Uphold company policies rigorously, including seat belt enforcement and emergency response preparedness.

What We're Looking For

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a valid state driver's license.
A minimum of 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work shifts or a flexible work schedule as needed.
Subject to a DOT drug test and physical if applicable.
Eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Compensation: Training pay of $17.99 per hour, with starting pay of $20.33 per hour.
Vacation: up to 14 days per year.
