As a Trainee in Research, you will play an active role in analyzing complex OMICs datasets to advance understanding in pet nutrition. You'll collaborate with scientists to define key research questions, develop testable hypotheses, and carry out statistical evaluations to uncover patterns and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify research objectives and formulate hypotheses aligned with project goals
- Conduct statistical analysis of biological data and interpret results
- Summarize findings and support reporting based on analytical outcomes
- Contribute to planning and organization of research workflows
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates currently enrolled in a university program in biostatistics, biology, veterinary science, or pharmaceutical sciences with a strong foundation in statistical methods. You must be eligible to sign an internship agreement with your academic institution.
- Demonstrated interest in data analysis and scientific inquiry
- Proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred; knowledge of French, Italian, or Portuguese is an asset
