Scotiabank is hiring a Trader, Equity Products for its Scotia Wealth Management (SWM) division. This role sits within the TSG Agency Trading Desk, which supports SWM business lines by providing optimal trade execution, market insights, and strategic guidance.
What You'll Do
- Provide trade execution, support, market insights, and guidance to SWM businesses.
- Ensure SWM business representatives understand the risks, rewards, and potential outcomes of transactions.
- Educate Wealth Advisors and other SWM teams on regulatory requirements, market best practices, internal compliance, and trading desk procedures.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on products traded by your team, participating in the resolution of trading, compliance, and operational issues.
- Support a customer-focused culture by developing and maintaining strong relationships with Wealth Advisors and other business representatives.
