Copart is hiring a Title Express Senior Operations Manager to oversee and execute the full Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling (P-O-L-C) functions of the Title Express Department. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving performance, meeting budgetary goals, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and upholding compliance standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Title Express, ensuring alignment with company goals for productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Execute all functions of the P-O-L-C framework to support team performance and organizational success.
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performance team focused on exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, manage coaching and development plans, and implement progressive discipline when necessary.
- Communicate company and department goals clearly; translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives for the team.
- Monitor key performance metrics and hold staff accountable to meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Maintain compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Resolve internal and external customer concerns promptly, with professionalism and a solution-focused mindset.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, Sales, and cross-functional departments to enhance service delivery.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in planning sessions and contribute to the development and implementation of operational initiatives.
- Ensure safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction are consistently maintained throughout the operation.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Generate and present performance reports to senior leadership on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
- Track compliance and audit reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with internal and external standards.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in operations, title services, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams across remote or multi-location environments.
- Strong understanding of title procurement, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of meeting operational goals and customer service benchmarks.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using performance metrics, reporting tools, and standard office software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or internal dashboards).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Comfort with creating executive-level reporting and delivering performance reviews based on quantitative results.
