Leidos was looking for a Time & Pay Solutions Specialist

Leidos is seeking a customer service-oriented Time & Pay Solutions Specialist to join its Corporate Payroll team. In this role, you'll provide critical support related to timesheet and payroll customer service, audit requests, and special projects.

What You'll Do

  • Assist employees with timesheet questions, including the recording of hours which may be confidential.
  • Perform timecard corrections in the system of varying complexity.
  • Provide appropriate timesheet and payroll information to Human Resources or Legal when necessary.
  • Assist employees with creating paper correcting timesheets when needed.
  • Recommend actions to resolve timesheet discrepancies.
  • Review and analyze pay data to resolve pay-related questions.
  • Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
  • Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
  • Walk customers through the problem-solving process.
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback, and see problems through to resolution.
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure of issues.
  • Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.
  • Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma and 2+ years of timesheet administration or time charging experience in a defense contracting industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience is a must.
  • Ability to work overtime when special projects occur.
  • Strong working knowledge of time charging and payroll policies and procedures to ensure adherence to Company Policy and Federal Labor Laws.
  • Deadline-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven working experience in providing customer phone support.
  • Working knowledge of helpdesk software, databases, and remote control tools.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • US citizenship is required and you must be able to obtain security clearance as needed.
  • Able to work US East Coast hours.

  • Must be resourceful to find answers to questions.
