The Frick Collection is hiring a Time and Labor Specialist to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will develop, train, administer, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of our timekeeping and dynamic scheduling processes. You'll work closely with the Finance Department and other department heads to ensure employees’ hours, leave balances, and pay-related data are processed accurately and in accordance with our policies and applicable laws.
What You'll Do
- Develop, train, administer, ensure accuracy, and ensure compliance of the organization’s timekeeping and dynamic scheduling processes.
- Ensure employees’ hours worked, leave balances, leave administration, and pay-related data are accurately recorded and processed in accordance with organizational policies and applicable wage and hour laws.
- Serve as a key resource for employees and managers on scheduling, timekeeping, and leave procedures and policies.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in timekeeping or HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws and timekeeping compliance.
- Experience with HRIS and time and attendance systems (e.g., Paylocity).
- Extensive experience in schedule management systems.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and web-based applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Nice to Have
- Bilingual skills: English/Spanish helpful.
- Experience in a not-for-profit setting or cultural institution.

Team & Environment
You will be an integral part of the Human Resources Department, working in close collaboration with the Finance Department and other department heads. You will report to the Head of Human Resources.

- Compensation: $70,000 base annual salary.
