Tiber Technologies is hiring a System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our IT systems and infrastructure. You’ll work in a collaborative environment that values cross-functional teamwork and the collective pursuit of excellence.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day systems administration support to cybersecurity teams.
- Apply IAVAs and other security patches/updates in accordance with policy.
- Build, configure, and maintain laptops for mission operations.
- Support and administer virtual machines and CentOS-based systems.
- Provide limited Windows system administration support as needed.
- Deliver administrative support for Splunk clusters.
- Work alongside developers and mission operators to define system requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Support hardware builds and installations, including server and desktop support.
- Assist in storage setup (NAS, remote storage, etc.) and inventory tracking.
- Apply security best practices to maintain system integrity and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
- 5 years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Or 3 years of professional experience and a Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Experience with Splunk, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Airflow.
- Experience with GitLab, Jira, and version control tools.
- Experience implementing and maintaining storage solutions (NAS, SAN).
- Familiarity with inventory management and asset tracking tools.
- Understanding of basic network engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with hardware and infrastructure support.
