INCA – Insurance Core Automation is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design and implement a robust automated testing setup in our dynamic, product-driven environment. You’ll work hands-on in PHP and collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure high test coverage and fast feedback cycles.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain automated unit, functional, and integration tests in PHP using PHPUnit, Behat, or similar frameworks.
- Analyze and debug test failures, and drive fixes together with the development team.
- Improve and extend our test automation framework continuously.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and coverage of new features.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and QA processes.
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in software development or QA automation, preferably in PHP/Symfony.
- Hands-on experience with test frameworks such as PHPUnit, Behat, or Codeception.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of test architecture.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- German language skills are a plus.
