Buoy Software is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to take ownership of our software quality process. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be instrumental in building a culture of quality and shipping reliable products.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies.
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
Lead the triage and root cause analysis of defects, driving issues to resolution.
Collaborate closely with development and product teams throughout the entire software lifecycle.
Establish and champion quality metrics and best practices across the engineering organization.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software development engineering in test.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation for web applications and/or APIs.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
