What You'll Do
Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Java, focusing on reliability and long-term maintainability. You'll create and execute test scripts that validate complex payment transactions, Swift message structures (both MT and MX formats), and integration points across banking systems.
Work closely with developers, quality assurance specialists, and business analysts to define testing approaches and ensure full coverage of critical functionality. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as part of continuous delivery pipelines.
Analyze test outcomes to detect defects early, collaborate with engineering teams on root cause analysis, and verify fixes efficiently. Help uphold compliance with financial industry regulations and security protocols throughout the testing lifecycle. Support junior QA team members by sharing expertise and contributing to the evolution of testing standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Professional experience building automated tests in Java using frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or Rest Assured
- Deep familiarity with payment technologies including Swift MT/MX, SEPA, and ISO 20022 standards
- Proven ability to test RESTful and SOAP-based APIs
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI and version control via Git
- Working knowledge of test and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or TestRail
- Solid foundation in software testing principles and agile development workflows
