BetterHelp is looking for a Test Analyst to join our team via TensorOps. You will analyze requirements, develop test plans, execute tests, and manage defects to ensure software rollouts meet their intended purpose. The role involves working collaboratively as part of a multi-skilled delivery team to support the implementation of new technologies or upgrades.
What You'll Do
- Work on projects of different size, scale and complexity.
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams to deliver new or upgraded software at the highest possible quality standards.
- Define and produce Test artefacts that align with the agreed Test methodology and processes, for all applicable Test Phases.
- Provide peer reviews of applicable Test artefacts produced by team members.
- Take ownership of Test Case creation, Test Execution and Issue resolution within the area of responsibility.
- Liaise with Key Stakeholders for timely issue resolution, including taking ownership of issues identified.
- Support with the production of key Test Metrics for Test monitoring, and the production of required Stakeholder Reporting.
- Ensure risks and issues escalation protocols are followed, and actioned in a timely manner.
- Support Live implementation activities.
- Support continuous improvement activity for the enhancement of the testing processes.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable proficiency in a software testing role with suitable practical experience.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and different delivery methodologies.
- Sound working knowledge of the Software Test Lifecycle.
- Experience in defining and creating Test Cases, completing Test Execution and Defect Management.
- Experience in System, Integration Testing and Acceptance Testing/User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience of understanding and analysing complex business processes, complex data, and requirements.
- Adept at learning new systems and processes, and technically ‘hands-on’.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A curious and proactive individual, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong logical and critical thinking skills, with a panache for challenging views and opinions.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
Nice to Have
- ISEB/ISTQB Certified in Software Testing (Foundation Level or equivalent).
- Testing experience within a Financial Service environment, and understanding of associated regulations, financial processes and terminology.
- Experience of using a Risk Based Test approach.
- Experience in Mobile App Testing.
- Experience in API Testing.
Team & Environment
The team is small but diverse in terms of expertise and experience, sitting within the Bank’s manual Test Team. You will report to a Test Manager or Test Lead.
