As a Territory Account Manager, you'll lead revenue growth in your assigned region by securing new clients and expanding existing relationships through strategic upsell and cross-sell initiatives. You’ll develop deep expertise in the company’s cybersecurity offerings and use that knowledge to align solutions with customer needs across the lifecycle—from onboarding to long-term success.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying key stakeholders and driving outreach with a structured, repeatable process.
- Track and report on account performance using software dashboards, delivering monthly updates on key metrics to leadership.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer concerns, escalating and coordinating with internal teams when necessary to resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and product teams to ensure customer feedback shapes future development and service improvements.
- Create and maintain onboarding materials, technical documentation, and client-specific resources in partnership with support teams.
- Deliver Statements of Work and Letters of Engagement tailored to client requirements.
- Identify friction points in the customer journey and lead efforts to improve experience and retention.
- Provide strategic insights to product, business, and technology teams based on real-world client interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing accounts in SaaS or technology-driven environments.
- Established relationships with security-focused value-added resellers in the local region.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with strong organizational and presentation skills.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment with a hands-on mindset.
- Strong grasp of MEDDPICC sales methodology and disciplined use of Salesforce for tracking and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools within the Atlassian suite.
- Skill in drafting technical documentation, workflows, and client-facing materials for diverse audiences.
Work Mode
This role is location-specific, with a preference for candidates based in Chicago or Atlanta. Collaboration will span multiple time zones, requiring flexibility and strong remote coordination skills.
