TD Bank is looking for a Teller I (20 Hours Weekly) to join our team in Huntington Station, New York. You'll be a key part of our Store, delivering excellent customer experiences by processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency while educating customers on our products and services.

What You'll Do

Deliver a legendary customer experience by consistently executing appropriate service behaviors.
Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.
Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, and balancing cash drawers with a high level of accuracy.
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, escalating to management as necessary.
Orchestrate customer flow in the lobby, warmly welcoming customers and guiding them appropriately.
Educate customers on self-service and digital banking options that meet their needs.
Conduct needs-based conversations to offer financial solutions or refer customers to appropriate partners.
Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.
Ensure compliance with operational guidelines and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act.
Verify customer identities by following authentication policies and procedures.
Balance cash drawers, ATMs, Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs), and Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs).
Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.
Maintain and secure cash drawers and vaults, including appropriate cash limits.
Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored.
Follow dual control protocols and all security measures to minimize potential loss.
Utilize bank tools and processes to detect, address, and prevent fraud.
Complete all required in-classroom and on-line training by established due dates.

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work during scheduled operating hours, which include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Strong organizational skills.
Detail-oriented approach.
Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.

Nice to Have

6 months of work-related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.
Demonstrated Customer Service skills.
