NOVARES, a leader in automotive plastic parts manufacturing, is seeking a Technician Machine Setter to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for guaranteeing and optimizing the good working order of production machines in compliance with all procedures related to quality, reliability, cost, deadline, safety, and environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare tooling for quick changeovers while complying with standards, consulting production planning, and carrying out the changeover process efficiently.
- Ensure production changeover meets Technical File standards while minimizing changeover time, including mounting tooling and performing level 1 maintenance.
- Launch manufacture by minimizing start-up rejections, performing start-up checks, and verifying machine and tooling conformity.
- Monitor the process and product, intervening in the event of anomalies to reattain standards by tracking parameters and participating in progress actions.
- Provide technical expertise by analyzing and diagnosing processes, proposing corrective actions, and analyzing micro breakdowns.
- Provide technical tutoring and training to APU teams, operators, leaders, and other setters.
- Participate in team development by solving technical and quality problems and contributing to the development of products and processes.
