Desjardins Group is hiring a General Finance & Accounting Technician to play a key role in managing financial accounts and supporting our financial objectives. You’ll serve as a technical expert, providing specialized support for your unit's activities, initiatives, and processes.
What You'll Do
- Help manage financial accounts by producing reports, performing audits, inspections, and financial simulations.
- Analyze risks, profits, and losses to ensure financial performance.
- Help plan and review budget processes.
- Help manage and control accounting systems by gathering, processing, and recording financial data.
- Assist with product and service pricing and financial engineering.
- Assist with financial market transactions and tax law analysis, including payroll.
- Provide technical support for projects and complex operational issues.
- Carry out specialized technical studies, research, and analysis. Serve as a resource person for solutions and action plans.
- Roll out and maintain software and manual/automated processes. Train users.
- Prepare technical notes to enhance the skills and knowledge of users and their teams.
- Help professionals in your unit develop their skills. Identify training needs and follow up.
- Help practitioners follow your unit’s standards, processes, and business solutions.
What We're Looking For
- College diploma in a related field.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of French is required.
