Star Pubs, part of HEINEKEN UK, is looking for a Technician to join our bottling operations. You will be responsible for the smooth running of our bottling line machinery, ensuring daily production plans are met with quality and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Follow and execute the daily bottling line production plan.
- Independently operate all line machinery and perform adjustments according to valid standards.
- Adhere to, create, and review bottling line standards.
- Follow occupational safety principles and record near-misses or dangerous behavior.
- Perform regular quality checks throughout the bottling process.
- Record and analyze data on performance, quality, and material or energy losses, resolving issues as they arise.
- Document and troubleshoot anomalies, defects, and equipment alarms.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection.
- Remove mechanical maintenance tags, perform minor repairs, and actively participate in general or major repairs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably in a bottling, packaging, or similar production environment.
- Ability to independently perform machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong commitment to following safety protocols and quality standards.
- Methodical approach to data recording, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Capability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team during repair activities.
