ServiceNow is looking for a Technical Writer Emerging Talent Intern to join our Experience Team for a 6-month full-time internship from July 2026 to December 2026. You will contribute to critical documentation projects while building your skills and learning our processes.
What You'll Do
- Create product documentation for end users and system administrators.
- Learn to author in a variety of environments, primarily DITA/XML.
- Research, write, and ensure the accuracy of content covering current and future product releases.
- Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment.
- Conduct peer reviews of documentation.
- Collaborate with other information developers to produce and share content for different deliverables like blogs, product documentation, knowledge bases, and video.
What We're Looking For
- You are a career changer or emerging talent with a passion for technical writing and minimal relevant job experience.
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Ability to commit to the full-time program dates.
- Ability to understand and learn technical products and concepts.
- Passion for creating content.
- Ability to obtain information through research, interviews, and experimentation.
- Ability to interact collaboratively with peers from different cultural backgrounds, beliefs, opinions, and views.
- Ability to provide writing samples demonstrating research, analysis, and critical thinking.
- Note: This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
Nice to Have
- Self-taught learners, certification/bootcamp graduates, and community college graduates from liberal arts and writing backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
- Experience working in markup languages such as DITA, HTML, XML, or SGML is a plus.
