Perforce is seeking a Technical Support Engineer 2 to join our team in Pune. The ideal engineer blends DevOps, System Admin, and Support skills. You will work directly with our customers to solve complex system, application, and infrastructure problems, providing solutions that help them deliver software faster and more reliably.

What You'll Do

Work with customers to solve system, application, and infrastructure problems.
Provide solutions that help customers deliver software faster and more reliably.
Work closely with Professional Services, Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to drive customer success with Perforce solutions.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or ITSec, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience and related education.
Highly proficient System Administration knowledge.
Advanced understanding of software automation and DevOps systems.
Awareness and understanding of related emerging technologies and practices.
Excitement about working with the Puppet Enterprise and Open-Source community.
Demonstrated experience with clients and internal resources in face-to-face, telephone, and virtual meetings.
Ability to work and interact as a member of a group or team.
Requires logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and contribute ideas and improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to quality work.
The role is based in the Perforce office in central Pune and requires a hybrid working pattern of three days per week, along with EMEA-hour coverage.

Nice to Have

Programming skills like Ruby, Python, Perl, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience working with Puppet Enterprise or Puppet Open Source (Puppet 4 or more recent).
Windows systems administration experience, including Microsoft PowerShell.
Large-scale infrastructure experience.
Knowledge of data center management, systems management and monitoring, networking & security.
Technical Support experience in an open source or enterprise software company.
