Join Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, as a Technical Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will provide critical technical expertise in the development and support of client application systems. You will work directly with pharmaceutical R&D scientists and technology teams to implement solutions that meet their needs and enable digital transformation within laboratory environments.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on technical experience for application configuration, deployment, and package selection.
- Consult comprehensively with business units and IT management on all phases of application deployment and process implementation.
- Design system-to-system data sharing workflows using leading integration protocols and patterns.
- Translate functional specifications into application design specifications, including architectures, hardware/software configurations, and database schemas.
- Collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts, client users, and IT management to identify technical solutions.
- Interact with AbbVie’s infrastructure, technical, and security teams to plan, deploy, and integrate technical services.
- Coordinate and facilitate application design sessions with development staff.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of technical experience, or a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Cloud deployment, DevOps, and system integration.
- Experience with data analytics from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell Scripting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with customers and technical teams.
- A deliverable-focused, detail-oriented approach with a strong customer focus.
- Exceptional teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in AWS is highly desired.
