As a Technical Recruiter, you will drive end-to-end talent acquisition for a company at the forefront of AI inference technology. Your focus will be on identifying and hiring top-tier engineers and researchers in supercomputing and machine learning—fields where talent is scarce and demand is intense. You’ll manage every stage of recruitment, from proactive sourcing to offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless and insightful hiring journey.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting with precision, maintaining high standards while accelerating hiring velocity
- Partner closely with engineering leaders to understand team needs and align on candidate evaluation
- Build pipelines by engaging with niche technical communities, including contributors to open-source projects, research forums, and preprint platforms
- Identify talent beyond traditional channels—scouting profiles on GitHub, arXiv, Apache lists, and technical social threads
- Design and support structured interview processes, ensuring consistent, data-driven hiring decisions
- Lead post-interview debriefs and guide hiring teams toward clear, fair outcomes
- Oversee offer management and closing, working directly with leadership and executives
- Continuously refine recruiting workflows to improve efficiency, equity, and candidate experience
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in AI, hardware, or systems-intensive domains
- Proven ability to assess technical capability and team fit with depth and fairness
- A track record of sourcing talent in unconventional spaces
- Comfort operating in fast-changing environments and building recruiting infrastructure from the ground up
- Strong commitment to operational rigor and respectful, transparent candidate engagement
Preferred Background
- Experience hiring in AI, semiconductor, or specialized engineering fields
- Familiarity with research-driven engineering cultures and emerging technical domains
Work Environment
This role is based in San Jose (Santana Row), where the core team operates in-person. While we consider remote contract arrangements, there is a strong preference for candidates able to work onsite.
