ActioNet is looking for a Sr. Technical Proposal Writer to join its Proposal Operations Team. In this role, you will directly support RFX and Task Order responses by developing high-quality, compliant proposal content for the company and its Joint Ventures.
What You'll Do
- Ensure proposal writing is clear, coherent, concise, technically accurate, and grammatically correct.
- Coordinate with technical SMEs to define and tailor persuasive technical solutions for each RFP.
- Participate in pre-proposal solutioning sessions with SMEs, Proposal/Capture Managers, and partners.
- Interview SMEs to document and develop compliant and compelling proposal response content.
- Develop graphics (e.g., ConOps, diagrams, flowcharts) to convey technical concepts.
- Research technical concepts and write proposal responses based on that research.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, a technical discipline (e.g., computer science, cybersecurity, cloud), or equivalent.
- 4+ years of technical writing experience.
- 3+ years of proposal writing experience.
- Strong understanding of Government Proposals (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) and the Proposal Response process.
- Understanding of Information Technology (IT) concepts, management processes, and Federal Government IT service delivery best practices.
- Ability to adhere to brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Proposal Operations Team, working closely with SMEs, Proposal/Capture Managers, and teaming partners.
Work Mode
This role follows a hybrid work model and is based out of our Vienna, Virginia location.
