INDIE Solutions GmbH is looking for a Technical Product Owner (m/w/d) to join our team in Berlin. You will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of one or more digital products within distributed systems for the retail sector, acting as the key bridge between business and technology.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership for the strategic further development and implementation of digital products in an environment of distributed systems.
- Work closely with internal specialist departments, technical architects, development teams, and external stakeholders.
- Incorporate technical understanding into product design, promote alignment between business and technology, and shape the product vision.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, formulate meaningful user stories, and ensure quality and scheduling.
- Moderate cross-team meetings and coordinate closely with marketing and sales departments.
- Analyze market and competitive data to inform and evolve the product strategy.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree with a focus on IT, business, or a related subject.
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable role within an agile environment.
- Solid technical understanding of modern software architectures such as microservices, cloud environments, or distributed systems.
- Ability to identify technical dependencies and contribute soundly to decision-making.
- Basic knowledge in the field of automated quality assurance.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, User Story Mapping, or Impact Mapping.
- Proficient handling of agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to maintain an overview within complex, changing structures.
- Experience formulating user requirements and designing user-centered interaction concepts.
- Strong communication and moderation skills.
- Very good language skills in German and English.
