About the Role

Cognigy is looking for a Technical Product Owner to join our team. You will define, prioritize, and maintain product backlogs and roadmaps for our complex AI platform, acting as an Agile ambassador to ensure product success.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and launch new products and features that contribute to the global roadmap.
  • Work closely with product management to analyze data, write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with software architects and engineers to define and document technical requirements for product features.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements aligned with engineering feasibility.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure product success and guide future development.
  • Maintain a refined and evolving product backlog that drives iterative optimizations and long-term innovation.
  • Drive acceptance testing before feature and product launches.
  • Lead and participate in agile ceremonies such as refinement and sprint planning.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Work with Technical Writers to document product capabilities, project progress, and release notes.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, with a focus on SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum/Scrumban).
  • Strong technical mindset and ideally some hands-on experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Enjoy analyzing data and visualizing information for data-driven decision making.
  • Highly analytical and curious intellect with the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex problems.
  • Ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term goals while meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Highly motivated team player with a hands-on, proactive, and independent mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Conversational AI or Contact Center industry.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the engineering department, working within cross-functional development teams supported by QA and SRE groups. You'll work closely with the Product & People team, a Software Architect, and the VP of Engineering.
