Azumo is hiring a Technical Leader to develop and enhance high-performing, scalable software solutions across a diverse technical stack including Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Engineering, JavaScript, and Java. You will lead technical teams, define architecture and deliverables, and collaborate with a growing team of engineers focused on software development, data, and AI.
What You'll Do
- Define the architecture, deliverables, and timelines for projects.
- Lead your team through the scrum process to deliver valuable software solutions.
- Create end goals for your team and delegate work assignments.
- Collaborate with your team to identify and fix technical problems.
- Supervise system modifications and conduct security audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
- Write progress reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
- Hire and train technical personnel.
What We're Looking For
- BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience with software development in Java, Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, or data technologies.
- 7+ years of experience leading development teams.
- Solid English proficiency.
- Deep expertise with Linux and hosted cloud environments like Heroku, AWS, or App Engine.
- Practical experience with open-source technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience integrating solutions with 3rd-party APIs (RESTful, OAuth, JSON).
- Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving.
- Strong experience with backend development, data systems, or scalable software architecture.
